Summer Murillo, Primary Generalist & Homeroom Teacher, G1 Head of Year, is from the US. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology with a minor in Education from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She also has a primary teaching license from Washington D.C. Summer has 7 years of teaching experience and has had the privilege of working in international schools across Thailand and Vietnam. Summer strongly believes that educators have a duty not only to address students' academic needs but also to consider every aspect of a child's development. She is dedicated to fostering an engaging learning environment where students take the center stage in their educational journey, ultimately fostering their excitement for knowledge and growth. In her free time, she loves to explore the outdoors, cook and paint.
