John Yang (Yang Zhongcheng) is a Certified Coordinator, High School Physics Teacher, Senior Research Laboratory Instructor, and Homeroom Teacher. He holds a Master’s degree in Theoretical Physics from Peking University and a Master’s degree in Education from North Carolina State University, and is an AP-certified instructor.
With a high school physics teaching certification and over twelve years of experience in AP physics teaching, research, and academic management, John’s classes consistently achieve AP score-5 rates well above both national and global averages.
He has a deep understanding of physics education philosophy and pedagogy. His teaching style is systematic, clear, concise, and coherent, and he excels at using real-life examples to help students grasp complex physics concepts with ease.

The 36 graduates of THISDL’s Class of 2024 delivered outstanding results in the Zhongkao, with overall academic performance ranking among the top levels in Haidian District. Among them, Wu Hanxiao stood out with an impressive score of 656, ranking 274th in the district. This achievement gives her a wide range of options, allowing her to apply to any of the prestigious “Six Elite Primary Schools” in Haidian.
Notably, seven students have already received official admission offers from these top schools, surpassing their performance in the district’s first and second mock exams. Specifically, 18 students achieved scores that meet the key high school cutoff—ranking within the top 8,000 in the entire district.
These results fully demonstrate the National Division’s excellence in teaching quality and student development at THISDL.
In the summer of 2024, Feng Haoxuan from Grade 9, Class 5 of THISDL National Division reached a significant milestone in his academic journey. When the Zhongkao results were announced, his outstanding score of 651 filled him with excitement and pride. From the ups and downs of his earlier mock exams in middle school to this remarkable achievement, every point of progress reflects his relentless effort and unwavering determination.

Scoring 653 points and ranking among the top 200 in Haidian District, Du Siyuan’s impressive achievement didn’t come with any signs of arrogance—he remains the relaxed, easygoing young man he has always been. Yet he admits, “I was almost overwhelmed with excitement!”
