A gentle drizzle fell over the THISDL, as the warm, moist air welcomed the annual Orientation Day of 2025. On August 8, new students and their parents, filled with anticipation and excitement, stepped onto this land that felt both familiar and new. Raindrops adorned every smiling face, reflecting curiosity and hope for the life ahead. Though the sky was overcast, it did nothing to diminish the lively atmosphere at registration—here, a brand-new learning journey was quietly setting sail.

On June 20th, 2025, the fifth-grade students of THISDL gathered in the Shuimu Theatre to celebrate their transition from Primary School to Middle School. This year’s ceremony was especially meaningful as it marked the graduation of the first group of students who completed all five years of their primary education at THISDL.

Time is a river that never stops flowing; it has not slowed its pace for my longing to remain in the learning life of THISDL. Time is a moon that waxes and wanes; it has not stayed whole simply because I wished to spend every day with you. Youth is a song full of rises and falls; it does not end with parting, yet it always plays when I think of you. Growth is a painting rich with endless scenes; it does not pause at graduation, but shines ever more brightly with the colors my alma mater has given me. Three years ago, we met in the name of youth; three years later, we part in the name of youth. The years do not dwell, and time never grows old. Over a thousand days and nights have now become the brightest starlight in this moment, as THISDL’s National Division the graduation ceremony of the Class of 2025.

In 2025, the 41 graduates of THISDL showcased exceptional academic strength, diverse talents, and distinctive personalities, delivering an impressive global university admissions outcome. 100% of the graduates received offers from their ideal overseas universities, with a total of 251 admission letters—an average of 6.2 offers per student. Over 60% of students were awarded scholarships, totaling more than 28 million RMB. These outstanding figures not only highlight the capabilities of THISDL students but also vividly reflect the school’s educational philosophy of “exploring and realizing possibilities.” Among them, over 90% of students received offers from universities ranked in the QS Top 100 or within the top 10 in their respective fields; 80% gained admission to top 50 universities in the United States.

In the recently released 2025 AP exam results, our students have once again achieved outstanding performance, delivering an inspiring report! Thanks to the joint efforts of all teachers and students, we have made breakthrough progress in exam subjects, number of participants, as well as the rates of perfect scores and high-achieving results.
