In April 2023, the MIP (Music Institute Program) was officially established at Daoxianghu School under the leadership of Principal Xin Ying and is affiliated with the Qingxiang Performing Arts Center. The program is led by American clarinetist and educator Keith Lipson, who serves as the Artistic Director. The faculty team of Qingxiang Band Academy consists of 27 experts from nine different countries and regions. The instruments taught include piano, violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, French horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba, percussion, harp, vocal music, and music production. Starting from 2024, THISDL Music Orchestra Program also established the THISDL Traditional Chinese Music Society, offering instruction in traditional instruments such as erhu, guzheng, pipa, bamboo flute, and ruan. THISDL Music Orchestra Program curriculum covers specialized instrument lessons, chamber music, symphony orchestra, music theory, sight-singing and ear training, as well as music history.

Tsinghua International School Daoxiang Lake (referred to as "THISDL") is three schools in one, including Tsinghua International School, Daoxiang Lake School and THISDL Kindergarten. Located at No. 1 Ningcui Road, Haidian District, Beijing, THISDL is a school that offers both international and domestic education from kindergarten to 12th grade. The campus covers an area of 145 acres with a total construction area of 162,000 square meters. Established in 2020, the school currently has over 1,700 students, divided into the National Program Division, the Bilingual Division, and the International Division, meeting the needs of students regardless of their future goals. In addition, the school has unique programs catering to special talents in arts and sciences, including Music Innovation Program（MIP）, Art and Design Program (ADP), Science and Innovation Program (SIP) and the PEP "π" Scholar Athlete's Program. THISDL is the only school in Haidian dictrict that is an official testing center for the SAT, TOEFL, and AP exams.

As of April 16, all 41 graduates of THISDL’s Class of 2025 have demonstrated outstanding academic strength, diverse potential, and distinctive personal character—delivering an impressive set of global university admissions results. 100% of the graduating class received offers from overseas universities of their choice, with a total of 230 admission letters—an average of 5.6 offers per student. Over 60% of students were awarded scholarships, with a combined total exceeding 28 million RMB. These remarkable numbers not only reflect the exceptional capabilities of Qingxiang students, but also vividly embody the school’s core philosophy of “exploring and realizing possibilities.” Over 90% of students received offers from QS Top 100 universities or institutions ranked in the Top 10 for their fields. 80% of students were admitted to top 50 universities in the United States.
