Middle School G6-G8

The ASA for Grades 6 to 8 is built upon the elementary school foundation, focusing on academic depth and personalized development, while balancing the enhancement of academic abilities and specialized development in areas of interest.

In terms of academic support, the curriculum includes International History Comprehensive Preparation, Film and Art Appreciation and Critique, which aim to develop students' critical thinking and cultural literacy. The mathematics curriculum focuses on the International Math Olympiad and includes the "City of the Future" project-based learning to enhance logical analysis and interdisciplinary application skills. The English curriculum includes public speaking, novel writing club, and debate skills training to strengthen language expression and international perspectives. Additionally, new courses such as C++ programming fundamentals and advanced programming competitions are introduced to develop students' computational thinking and innovation skills.

The interest development courses are more specialized and diverse. In the arts, Western calligraphy and music production are offered to deepen artistic creation and media skills. Science courses include paleontology exploration and VEXIQ robotics competitions, which stimulate scientific interest through hands-on practice. The sports programs offer a wide variety of activities, including football, basketball, table tennis, tennis, swimming, golf, martial arts, dance, cheerleading, taekwondo, and surfing. A tiered teaching approach is used, adapting to students' interests and abilities to ensure personalized guidance, allowing each student to find joy in sports, improve physical fitness, and develop teamwork and competitive awareness.

The course design for Grades 6 to 8 emphasizes academic challenges and independent exploration, combined with school team activities and international competition resources, helping students solidify academic foundations, develop core competencies, and lay a solid foundation for in-depth learning and specialized development in the high school years.G6-G8.jpg
